The Dustin Huffman Memorial Scholarship awards a Salem High School (Ohio) graduating senior $1000 toward their continuing education.  Based on character, it is about honesty, integrity, kindness and compassion. 

This scholarship is dedicated in the memory of Dustin Marshall Huffman.

This scholarship is intended to encourage others to respect life, work hard and help others as Dustin did.  As Dana Ackerman wrote in her letter dated July 4th, 2009,

"The world needs more Dustin Huffmans".

Completed applications should include:

•           A one page paper on "LIFE".

•           Letter of recommendation from a school official.

•          Letter of recommendation from a volunteer organization or employer.

A face to face interview will be scheduled for all eligible applicants.
